How do I book a session?
To book a session, please click on ‘Book a Free Consultation’ which takes you to our online booking system or get in touch with us directly – info@shearmansciencesolutions.com. We’ll help you find a suitable time and discuss the support you are looking for.
What impact can tutoring have on a student's grade?
Students typically see an improvement of 1–3 grades within around three months of starting tuition — for example, progressing from a C to an A. However, every student is different, and progress depends on several factors, including how many sessions they have each week, the amount of independent work they complete between lessons, and how closely they follow their tutor’s advice and strategies.
Is there a minimum number of lessons to sign up for?
No. There is no minimum number of lessons required. Students can book individual sessions according to their needs, although regular tuition is recommended to secure knowledge, confidence and exam skills over time.
What are the payment terms and conditions?
Payments must be made at least 48 hours before the session is due to take place. Bank transfer, Wise payment or Stripe payments are all accepted.
What is the cancellation policy?
You will receive a refund, provided you have given the tutor at least 24 hours‘ notice. Tutors are professionals with lives and financial commitments too, and this notice gives them the opportunity to fill the available time slot with another student.
